Description: Sweet almond is a tree that grows to a height of around 35 feet. It has pink-white flowers, followed by green fruits, each containing a nut. The tree is found in the Mediterranean region. The carrier oil is extracted from the kernel.
Sweet Almond oil contains vitamin D, vitamin A, Vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6 and a small amount of vitamin E. It is rich in protein and is nourishing and protective carrier oil for all skin types. This oil can either be used on its own or mixed with other carrier oils. Especially suited to dry, easily irritated complexions. Excellent for all skin types.
Healing Properties: Helps to lower blood cholesterol. Nourishes dry skin. Soothes inflammation. Relieves dry scaly skin, eczema, dermatitis and psoriasis.
